Truth & Taqiyya- Ellison Speaks

Congressman Ellison granted an interview on Saturday to the blog Minnesota Monitor, and the big topic was the flavor-of-the-month "scandal", the Attorney General firings:

In a wide-ranging interview Saturday, the freshman congressman from Minnesota's Fifth District said he believes Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has not been up front with Congress regarding the firings of replacement of several U.S. attorneys and has been "deliberately ignorant" on the details of the firings.

"I don't think the attorney general is lying, but he's deliberately not trying to find out what's going on. This isn't a criminal investigation. It stinks, but to my knowledge, no statute has been violated -- so why not get to the bottom of it?"

The real question, Congressman, is why are you wasting time and money investigating what is, by your own admission, a non-crime?
