Noam Sayin' Open Letter Watch: 4

Over at Powerline, Noam Sayin' has once again told the Star Tribune about a story right under their little nose:

Hey Star Tribune. This story juicy enough for ya? *YAWN*
Founding members of the Council on American Islamic Relations have decade long relationship with Keith Ellison, our current congressman, aka Keith Hakim Ellison, Keith X Ellison and Keith Ellison Muhammed (local angle).

Same members donate handsomely to the congressional campaign of Keith X Hakim Ellison Muhammed (intrigue).

The First Muslim Congressman, Keith X Hakim Ellison Muhammed gives speeches at several CAIR-sponsored events, as well as an Imams conference in Minneapolis (local angle) which culminates in six imams being removed from a USAirways flight to Phoenix for actions that were deemed potential threats to security (the plot thickens).

CAIR files lawsuit on behalf of the imams. Lead attorney in the suit is Omar T. Mohammedi - NYC Human Rights Commissioner (conflict of interest?).

As you can see, there’s plenty here for a good story.

Additionally, CAIR has now been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas Funding case. That might add a little something to the scoop too.

Gay Pride and Islam

The Minneapolis Gay Pride event (June 23 & 24, 2007) will be infiltrated by the Anti-War Committee this year. Planning for this event will take place tomorrow, June 10. This is the same Anti-War Committee that promotes Palestinian hate rap, and it's this same Anti-War Committee that wants to use the Gay community to help promote Islamic Appeasement. So how does Islam view this potential ally? From 2005 one Muslim male tells us in the Minnesota Daily:

While we pray for our guidance and for theirs, the Holy Book of Islam clearly states that homosexuality is a great sin and crime (Koran 7:84). Therefore, there exists a contradiction in carrying a Muslim and a queer identity. Such a thing is not possible unless one waters down one or the other.

Sura 7:80-84 is the Koran's telling of the story of Lot:

And Lot! (Remember) when he said unto his folk: Will ye commit abomination such as no creature ever did before you? Lo! ye come with lust unto men instead of women. Nay, but ye are wanton folk. And the answer of his people was only that they said (one to another): Turn them out of your township. They are folk, forsooth, who keep pure. And We rescued him and his household, save his wife, who was of those who stayed behind. And We rained a rain upon them. See now the nature of the consequence of evil-doers!

The Islamic Appeasers would use the Gay community to promote their cause, but if the Gay community falls for this sham they will be slitting their own throats.

Quote of the Day

Muslims are the first victims of Islam. Many times I have observed in my travels in the Orient, that fanaticism comes from a small number of dangerous men who maintain the others in the practice of religion by terror. To liberate the Muslim from his religion is the best service that one can render him.

Minnesota's Growing Khat Problem

Leafy plant sold to Somalis in Minn. is basis for NY drug trial

Four men went on trial Tuesday on charges that they conspired to smuggle a leafy stimulant called khat from Africa to Minnesota. But while prosecutors portrayed them as drug dealers, their lawyers said they were not—because there was no drug.

But Assistant U.S. Attorney Seetha Ramachandran said the defendants used a fleet of human couriers and overnight shipping arrangements to race khat to America and through New York for distribution in Minneapolis and Portland, Maine.

Khat is an African drug, popular with Somalis. Some Minnesotans may remember the large khat bust in Woodbury back in March. Obviously, there is a growing trade for this stimulant in Minnesota, as if we didn't have enough crime in the Cities.

Prom- Shari'a Style

Instead of integrating into American society, Minnesota Muslims withdraw and remain in their own:

Muslim girls, women have prom without cultural compromises

It was a prom for girls only, where more than 100 Muslim teenagers could take off their headscarves, let loose and dance, experiencing an American rite of passage without violating Islamic culture and values.

The Saturday night PROM—Party foR Only Muslimahs, or Muslim girls—at the University of Minnesota's Coffman Memorial Union provided a chance for the girls to participate in a major high school experience.

Many Muslim girls don't attend their high school prom because they aren't allowed to dance with the opposite sex, and prom dresses can be too revealing for some Muslim girls to wear in public.

"I'd hate to miss this," said Sabrina Wazwaz, 15, a freshman who goes to Twin Cities Academy in St. Paul. "I think it's really nice how they thought of the Muslim girls who can't go to the American prom, so they made this for us."

An all girls party, not unlike something you'd find in Saudi Arabia, except this is in Minnesota.

Congressman Islamist?

An excellent and scary piece from Front Page Magazine on Congressman Ellison and the MAS-MN convention:

Anti-Semitism and Keith Ellison seem to gravitate toward one another. It was the case throughout the 90’s, when he was heavily active in the Nation of Islam (NOI), and it was the case just last weekend, when he gave the keynote address at the 4th Annual Convention of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota.

The Minnesota chapter of MAS, the chapter that Ellison addressed, has striven to uphold the Ikhwan legacy, by propagating materials authored by past Brotherhood leaders, like Hassan Al-Banna (Egypt MB founder), Sayyid Qutb, and Syed Abul Ala Maududi (Pakistan MB founder).

Congressman Ellison has a history of associating with with the more radical groups of Islam- from the Nation of Islam to the Muslim Brotherhood. Coupling his associations with Koranic teachings, especially Sura 33:1, and I have to ask, who is Ellison serving- the 5th District of Minnesota or the Ummah?
